ok i bent the needles up makiing them to block the fuel passage earlier (b4 reaching the flood level) thats whaty i mostly do with my bikes when running too rich but i also recognaized that the there is a kid b4 me balanced the carbies :S coz the needles of oxygen those with rubberes covered with black plastic piece are balanced at the lowes grove which means not enough oxygen at all is enterin ght carbies anyway i fixed those 2 things nd the bike is running perfect it made 185 at highway with little time but i feel like this type of work like bending the needles is not 100% good work coz each needle u bent it by using ur hand nd vision not a specific measure to measure if the 4 are identical coz iam sure each carb is not exactly having the same level of fuel now .... i hope u get what i mean id like to do the 4 identical how can this be or there is now way

Dan, Jad_1985 has already asked how to adjust the float levels and i advised him how to in his previous thread.

In regards to your concern about the float heights being different; simple answer is don't worry! Each of the four carbs is not exactly the same, therefore the tuning needs to be set to suit each carb.
As for a more accurate or scientific way to adjust the fuel delivered, carbs are just done this way. Electronic fuel injection (EFI) was invented as a more accurate way of fuel delivery.
