So not seeing any reason why the 2 stroke wouldn't fit, I have a spare complete motor complete with harness and black box from a 90 RZ350. Is there any reason you guys can think of why I shouldn't go ahead and try this?
im pretty sure someone on this forum posted a link to some guys web page that had some detaild shots of this conversion from memory he had problems lining up the rearsets and the chain.

Thanks, that is a pretty neat idea, I'm hoping the RZ engine is a bit wider then the 315, and that the gear box will fit <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: --> enough to make this idea work. It'll be as fast as a 600 I hope <!-- s:cop --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cop.gif" alt=":cop" title="Cop" /><!-- s:cop --> .
