They're like a FZR250 with enough grunt to keep the average punter and twisty hunter happy. Pretty much take everything you've learnt in the 250 and scale it up slightly... much like my FZR1000, it's seriously just a scaled up 250 (or the 250 is a scaled down 1000). If i know my models... isn't the 3JT the twin headlighted equivalent of the 3LN-1?

The ones to keep an eye out for were the ones with the extra suspension goodies... but i believe that they're rather rare.

The 3jt1,and the model im buying is the 1990 model, twin projector headlights, pearl white/met red.
Yea the one with the suspension upgrades is the 400rr sp,single seat, flatside carbs, close ratio gerbox. They are quite rare though!

Yep, the SP was the one i was thinking of. Now THAT would be a very very nice bike to own.
I guess owning an FZR400 would be a bit of fun. If i was shopping around for a track bike it would be one of the first ones on my list. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
