I've been trying to fix this all day, my bike squeks only when i'm moving backwards, it doesn't make a noise if I move forward. I thought it was the suspension but I finally found the source of the sqeak(definately not spelt right ). When pushing the rear brake lever hard a squeky noise is coming from somewhere in the rear brake. Anybody know how to fix????

Somewhere in the rear brake... i assume you mean from inside the caliper? (the bit with the brake pads)
It's most likely just a similar setup as i saw on your front pads... that there may not be any backing plate, or squeak plate in there which means that the pad has bedded in with the bike moving forwards (THATS A GOOD THING! ) and now when it moves backwards the pad is rubbing against something inside the caliper, most likely the piston.

Personally i'd say ignore it. How often do you make your bike go backwards?

sounds like they have glazed over... get some sandpaper or emery cloth 80 grit and rough them up, should fix your problem.

Thanks for the replies...... it only happen when i'm sitting on the bike and moving backwards, could it have something to do with the suspension? I hope not
