My little bro and I have recently purchased an 89' twin headlight 3LN FZR 250. When the bike is running on low beam both head lights are lit up, when we switch highbeam on the left light only lights up in highbeam while the right has nothing. Is this normal? or should both headlights light up in high beam?.....I tried doin a search for subject but couldnt find anything..

    cheers
    Glen

The high beam filament in the right hand bulb is blown. Replace the bulb and both will be lit up again. Just check the rating, as it may be a 30/60watt bulb, not 55/60watt like a standard car one. The higher rated bulbs will strain the electrical system.

Let us know how you get on...

OK all fixed....as it turned out was a loose wire at the back of the bike underneath the pillion seat and a blown globe. A quick replacement of the conection and globe and bingo both highbeams on.

Cheers for the advice csls22 . Greatly appreciated
