I've been thinking guys. Theres a nice fizzer, only 12,000kms, 1990 for only 4.5k in NZ and i like it so much, so i was wondering if i should sell my bike for $4000+ and buy the fizer, (my bike is a CB 250) I can't make up my mind!!!!

Thanks in advance

Take it for a good test ride, then you will know you have to do it.

12000km should be good. If you are just going to sell you bike strate away and you have the $500 and the fzr is fine then I would.
I gess the main thing is do you wont it that bad 'yse you do' and good luck

obviously a lot of us here are gonna say get the fzr... but definitely test ride it... the cb250 rides quite a bit differently to the fzr and you may love the ride of the fzr or you might hate it but theres only one way to find out...

if youre heading towards a "sports" bike later i guess nows as good a time as any

Yea but the thing is, I'm wanting to get an r6, or zx 6r, whatever, something like that, in a year and a half, so should I just be patient.
Yea I thought I would get a biast opion here, thats why I did it, so convince me more! I'm a bit worried about the comparative reliability of the bikes though, arg heck, just convince me a little more guys!
I also think i mught be able to get lucky and earn a couple of hundred selling my bike, because I got a pretty good deal the first time. But I don't want to sell, only to have the fizzer gone! I'll try and see this guy on saturday...

I had a cb250 and when I got on to the fzr i almost with joy because now I had a bike that did what i wonted.

PS had fun with a guy on a fzr 1000 on the way home today the 250 did well.

The bikes don't compare. They have a totally different feel and attitude. The cb250 is great for cruising around on, and for going for little blats when you feel like it.

The Fizzer is a weapon in comparison. It's agressive, flickable, and wants to be ridden hard. When you're riding it you're not looking for a casual cruise down the highway, you're after tight corners and rolling hills where you can toss it around to your hearts content.

They're two totally different bikes, and you will find yourself riding them with totally different mindsets. Just warning you to be prepared for it.

Haha.. he must've been stuck in second.
My FZR1000 makes my 250 seem like it's standing still.

Even through the twisties i think i'm faster on the FZR1000... although i've put it down to the improved tech of the bike (USD forks & adjustable suspension) rather than simply the crank on the power out of the corners mentality.
