Good. I paid $85 for my last 2kr air filter (as part of a full service), and thats a pretty standard price from what i've seen. Out of interest, is there a part number or something for this "unifilter" (the 2kr one is what interests me). Where did you get it?

I would be keen to know the part number for the filter too. I am coming close to my next service and it needs to be replaced.

Dang Boz, I was just looking up my 1000 to see how much it'd cost.

94 FZR1000 = $41.36
94 YZF750 = $70.71

These are K&N Stock Replacement filters from www.parts411.com

wow - about half the cost for that filter! (take exchange rate into account and I would have saved ~$50 AUD or ~$35 USD had I needed to buy one). But then I would have needed to wait for shipping...

Thanks for that link by the way, I tried to find out if they shipped to Australia but couldn't find any info on that. WIll have to ask when I need a part next...

Uinfilter say that it's fully serviceable with service intervals every 20,000km to 30,000km but regular inspection is advised every 5000km to ensure it's not drying out.

I put one of these airfilters in my bike yesterday. Along with a fuel filter change and spark plug change, I'm pretty sure the bike has a bit more poke. Felt great to ride. Didn't get a chance for a real top speed run, but it got up to 160kph no worries. I'll see how the fuel economy goes - I'm hoping its improved a bit as well.

I got one aswell. Runs a treat.
I did 1.37's at oran park with my old filter and 1.35's with the new filter not that it means a whole lot but I definitely feel alot more smoothness with the new filter. I'll check the plugs sometime tomorrow to see how the mixture has been affected with the new flow of air.
