That actually doesn't look all that bad. A complete front end and you can streetfighter it. Problem will be finding a complete front end,

Ouch, the front wheel shows how much force you hit whatever it was you hit!
Yep, i reckon as long as the the head stem isn't cracked it's good for a new set of forks, bearing, etc... and a brand spanking new motor-cross headlamp.

i hit a mid 90's magna. the pictures dont show half the damage though. the frame is bent and all the welds are stressed so much that all paint on them has cracked off. the 2 right hand side extractors looking towards the bike are crushed up against the motor. the seat doesn't fit on any more cause the fuel tank has been pushed back to. all the glass on the instruments is smashed also. there is no way i can fix this bike.

bugger me man. you're lucky to walk out of that one so well off. You must've hit the magna almost square on to do that sort of compression damage.

yeah i hit it dead square on. i didnt relly have enough time to cross the bike up, but really i would prefer the bike taking as much impact as possible rather than a glancing blow with my leg in between. what has pissed me of the most is that all the nice weather is on its way and im not going to ever get back on a bike.

Heres some pictures of whats left of a bike after a t-bone at 45 km/h accident down your way recently by a rider on http://www.overclockers.com.au/mc

This guy states he is never going to ride again.

Quoted from OCAU/MC:

His right elbow has effectively been shattered (13 screws apparently ), ruptured his liver, crushed a lung, and fractured/taken a chip of bone out of one of his legs/feet (I'm not to sure about the details of the injury to his leg)

He was in a medically induced coma for quite a few days in intensive car at RAH

How lucky are you?

that would of been a bloody bad crash Crouton, i hope the guys recovering. That bike would have pretty good tip-in now, its got a rather extreme rake angle.
