    Hey guys,
    Can anyone suggest a good set of gloves for summer use. Since I bought my bike recently I bought winter gloves and now it is getting kind of warm. Can anyone suggest a good cool pair for summer?

    I have been looking at Alpinestars SP1 and SP2's but more recently I have been looking at the Alpinestars SMX-5 gloves and Icon Hooligan gloves. They are both MotorX looking gloves but have a fair amount of ventelation.

    If anyone has tried any of these and has an opinion I would love to hear your advice. Cheers

    I pretty much stick with Alpinestar's exclusivly for gloves. Quality stuff, but par for the course on pricing.

    Thanks for that. I think that I am going to go for the Alpinestars over the icon gloves. Mainly becuase it is more of a known brand and I know the quality is there.

    joe rocket highside gloves.

    RRP $99

    good protection, look **** hot and have ventilation in the fingers. I'd go them over the alpinestars.

    Biggirds,

    I got a nice pair of alpinestars SP3s, AWESOME, and not soo hot, even in Brisbane (35C)! As everything it's personal choice. If you knwo the gloves you want, go to the US EBAY site and you'll find all the major brands, brand new, 25% cheaper (you'll just have to wait a week or so). I think the ebay store is "Flyinbryandeals"??

    Flyinbryandeals is where I found the gloves that I am after. He seems to have alot of stuff to sell at very low prices.

    i had the alpinestars SMX4 gloves, they were awesome in summer but when i crashed they split open like a banana!
    I have been looking for another pair though and the new alpinstar range looks like they have fixed up the stitching/seams so that wont happen.

    personally though i'll be looking at Joe Rocket. Have heard nothin but praise from all who deal with this brand.

    Since looking for summer gloves I have heard nothing but good things for Joe rocket gloves. I am keen to get a pair of Speedmaster 5.0 when I can get the money together.

    Try these;
    <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://catalog.troyleedesigns.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=194_221_228&products_id=297">http://catalog.troyleedesigns.com/catal ... cts_id=297</a><!-- m -->

    I have these myself and they are great. But i had to get them sent over from Troy Lee Designs in the U.S. Great protection yet cool in summer, not too bad in winter either.
