well mine's at the other end of the scale with a (very dubious) 14,000km on the dial - and its an '88 2kr.
When i bought it 6 months ago it only had 8000 on it - i reckon it was wound back on import (i've heard stories), but its still in immaculate condition and the motor's been completely faultless so i don't really care!

Mine has done 23873, but I think I am in the same boat as spook. Mine is a grey import also. The engine has been faultless, so I have no complaints.

i'm hoping that my clock wasn;t wound back during import cause if it was i would hate to know how many k's it really has on it if its up to 79558 now!! nah the motors been great, no-ones touched the carbies since i got it and that was about 16 000 k's ago, its had some elec problems that had to be fixed but thats just its grey hairs showing

Re: still going stong

If it is still running well that is all that really matters. Keep treating it nicely and I am sure it will last a lot longer too!

My '92 3LN had 13,000km when i bought it last year, now its up to around 24,000km. It's more than likely that the clock was wound back on import although the engine is still great and the front discs aren't too worn meaning it hasn't done a shitload of K's.

And up until the other week mine hadn't been dropped either

My 3LN had done just over 64,000kms when it was sold, however I did rebuild the engine at around 60,000kms so I guess engine had done 4,000kms. Did a good amount of kms for a 15 year old bike.

Sobil,

Look at the backside of your rear plastics. I've been told that there are paint codes listed here.

If you have time, could you check for me. I'm now curious, but too lazy to go check my own at the moment.

Paint codes .... Rear plastics...
I'd like to know also.

As for the ks
266503. Like most of you, very dubious kms
for the age of bike. I for one don't believe their accurate.
