    Seems I may have a rare bike for the UK as all dealers who specialize in Japanese imports have never seen or heard of them.
    They all assume that its a "bitsa" bike made up from a 2KR & a 3LN.
    Just goes to show how much dealers know <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

    well just to repeat the point my '88 2kr has an exup exhaust - it doesn't really look original though 'cos you can see two old weld points on it. And the guys at A1 motorcycles thought it was an add-on and reckoned there was no such thing as a 2kr with exup. So that clears up nothing really...

    These 2KR models with EXUP are like rocking horse s**t here in the UK.
    Can someone tell me how much their local breaker would charge for a complete exhaust system,
    headers & end can, & a guide on cost to ship to the UK?
    TIA

    The exup smooths out the power curve in the lower rev range. Instead of starting to get a burst of power between 10-12000 revs it will start coming on more gradually at about 5000. There isn't a huge loss of power, so it is not something to be overly concerned about. Where it counts (i.e. above 10 000) there isn't any difference in power.
