hey all this is for the sydney riders... just thought i'd let you know that i went to RB Racing on Taren Point road to get my bike checked out... they replaced the chain, changed the fork oil, balanced the carbs, fixed my mixture with an EGO sensor, and changed my tyres... did an excellent job and it feels like a different bike i recommend them ... cheers simon
rb racing werent cheap, but i certainly think it was worth it. it costed me $661 including parts and labour. I cant remember the itemised costs, but the tyres alone were about $250, the fork oil about $24, not sure how much the chain was worth... but obviously they charged quite a bit in labour... it rides like a new bike now tho... i start it up first time with no choke now and gear changes and downshifting are much better with the new chain, the front suspension is firm, and the engine never feels like its going to cut out anymore...whereas previously it was very fragile... simon
with tires included that is a decent price! I had a quote of $350 plus any necessary parts once for my old fzr (it needed new jets & brake pads from what I knew of). Given that the tires are $250 you pretty much already matched the quote I had!
well considering that i could have done half the stuff myself, it was outlay that wasnt really necessary... but i would have pottered around and taken ages to do it... so im happy to have paid what i did... simon

woah... its a long way to come from lane cove to the shire... but i suppose if its for good work, why not... i know guys that travel from the shire to mt druitt for their cars to be tuned... simon
