After my accident recently I had to get a new dark tinted screen which I got from Metropolitan Motorcycle Spares in Silverwater. It cost me $100 and fits perfectly on my 3ln3.

I look on e-bay every night and you rarely find parts for FZR 250 i think $100 is not bad considering it was for a grey import bike and also from a wrecker.

yeah ebay australia doesnt have much in the way of fzr stuff... and dont forget we're talking $100 AUD which is about $75 - $80 USD now...

so id probably be happy with that price....

ajak, what condition was the screen in?

The screen is brands new. Metropolitan Motorcycle spares has a supplier who makes it for them.

ahve you looked into http://www.powerbronze.com.au. They make some nice stuff - screens included. I would guess that some other model of bike would have an interchangable screen with the fzr 250... (Can't find any fzr250 stuff, though perhaps a tzr screen will do? Or a screen for a different brand of bike? You may need to go out and have a look to see what screens may fit - I can think of worse things than going to look at bikes)

May be pricey though (I don't know what the costs are) but their stuff looks darn nice!

I finally bought a new screen for Fzr 3ln-3 last weekend.
I paid $100 for it at Metropolitan wrekers
It was new and had a sticker on it
"Slipscreens Australia" 02 96243737
I would call them first and see if you can get one direct from them.
Probally cheaper, unless Metropolitan are selling them at cost.

Hey all!

I got my new screen with my new front fairing for my 3LN-3. From memory it cost me $90. I got it from a place called Handcraft Fibreglass in Sydney. Nice dark tint too. It also has a sticker on it from Slipscreens... Must be a popular place. Also, for anyone in Brissy, there is a place in Albion called A.J Plastics. I got a light tint screen from there for a 3LN-1 for $88. It is right behind Albion Motorcycle Wreckers.
Anyhow, a quick glance at www.whitepages.com.au will give you the number for any of the above mentioned stores... Hope it helps.

Chris.

hi
I found a seller on Trademe selling screens for NZ $85.
I don't know if they'll send to Australia though.
Here's the link anyway
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listin ... ber=220556

He seems to have a lot of different models. Just tell him what one you want and he'll list it.
hope this helps
