I am still trying to work out weather I am lucky or Unlucky. I broke a clutch cable last night on my way home from work which is a 20km trip. I was pissed off, but when I pushed the bike 10 metres to my garage, I realized that I am pretty lucky. Of all places it could of broke it did it right outside my door. Happy Days!
Definately lucky Fletch! anything where u dont have to pay for ur bike to be towed is good in my books!
Mate.. I'm going to say real lucky as I once had to push a gsx 750 2.5 kms.. and I wouldn't like to do that again as most of it was up hills
How on earth did you manage that?? Did you have 15minute breaks each 20 metres? Cause thats the most I can do b4 im about to collapse! Sometimes I have to jump start my bike and im like half way down my street b4 it starts
close to that.. the bike still ran but i run over so nails on the road and two flat tyres .. so i half pushed and half idealed it home with me running beside it.. tock me forever to get home..lol
Can I just say that I find push-starting my new bike is so much easier than the fzr! I don't know why, but my new bike will start within 10 feet of me pushing, the fzr took a fair bit more than that on a good day. (I had to push start my bike because the battery needed replacing and just wasn't holding charge - all is good now).
