Had anyone cut down their rear tyre hugger? My rear tyre is slightly bigger than it should be and has worn a hole through the plastic so I was considering cutting it down to just past the hole and giving it a coat of paint as it looks quite old and faded.
Same happened to me because I'm running a 150/60 rear tire. I just got rid of it and made my own custom chain guard. Looks much tidier
The chain guard used the same mounting points as the previous hugger. It really shows off the whole wheel now
I like the red caliper. Huggers are impossible to get hold of in the UK. I'm tempted to make a template and splash to cash on a carbon one made up as I know a fabricator.
That's a pretty clean Zxr... I don't want to remove it all together as I don't mind the look of it but was wondering how it looked after being chopped. It could probably do with a clean up as well.
