    Hey All

Im planning a cruise on the 5th of February to go to the Australian Motorcycle Museum at Haigslea, the cruise will leave from Kianawah Park on Wynnum rd at Tingalpa, then head out to the Museum, spend a few hours pooring over some classics, then hit the road and stop at the Sundowner hotel for a bite to eat. For those of you on the Northside, you can choose to break off here ,head up though Fernvale and go over Mt Glorious, the rest can head back to Tingalpa. This is about a 65km ride each way, please note there is a $15 entry fee to the Museum, I will attempt to negotiate a better price once I have some numbers.

    cheers

    Chris

What a fun day out, we ended up with 9 people coming,  riding  3 x suzukis, 1 x Triumph, 1 x Honda, 2 x BWM , 1 x Kwakka and a classic Yamaha. The Museum was great, Alan has amassed an amaxing collection. After spending an hour pooring over the classics, we headed off to Lowood, then Fernval for a pie, then headed up Splityard creek to see if the Mt Glorious run open. The road was closed, so we headed out past Somerset Dam to Kilcoy, then into Woodford and over Mt Mee, then we all dispsersed and went home. All up, about 350kms of riding. Big thanks to everyone who turned up , was a really great day.

    Cheers

    Chris

What a great day and ride last Saturday. The Museum was a trip down memory lane for me, so many grand machines. We also saw some of the devastation left by the floods but all things considered the roads weren't too bad. The stand out bike of the day was the 250cc Kawasaki Ninja rid en by Frank, what a great bike. I followed the Ninja up Mt Mee and was blown away by it's handling and performance, 1st place in my book.
Great people made the day special and I can only hope that we can do it again soon.
Many thanks to all who came      Cheers  Phil
