Nice photo's Grey, at last we see the bike fully clothed :lolsign: So what actually are you saying, on Fathers day you had a need, a need for speed :thumb_ups: Good for you mate. Look forward to getting your impression of the Hyosung very soon.

I thought I could get away with just cleaning the seat and patching up some light rust. After scraping / cleaning / sanding for a couple of hours I ended up stripping the seat to check the condition of the seat foam / cushion (which was great). The seat cover is, of course, unobtainium.

By complete chance, I found a complete NOS-in-box '78 seat for $160. So now I have 5 seats - 2 ea. SS seats and 3 ea. SST seats. If anyone knows any good motor trimmers, am interested.

I played around with jets again, going back to where I was before I started to believe the technology I used to help me sort it out.
    It ran like crap !
    Upped the needle, slight improvement
Upped the needle jet, big improvement
It's still lacking in the pilot jetting, but that can wait 'till after a flog 'n' chop tomorrow, to check the main jetting (again)
Hopefully there will be no electrodes burnt, or pistons holed

I replaced the chain and changed the front sproket to 13t and added a quick turn throttle plus a new front tyre (Alpha 13).
