thanks everyone for your help especially Chris my bike is now roadworthy and im looking forward to the next group ride although ill be riding all this weekend if anyone is interested

Anyway thought id share a funny story with everyone
sent my bike to team moto for the roadworthy and received a call from them.
they told me that the bike would not start and needed a new fuel pump
i asked them why they thought it needed a new fuel pump
they told me it just kept clicking and that theyd price up a new pump for me
i said wait a minute, i know this sounds stupid but is the fuel turned on
he answered with lots of attitude and assured me the fuel was on
i asked him to please go check as i had it running that morning
he put me on hold then came back and told me the problem is fixed and they will continue with the roadworthy then hung up :p
could not believe that they did not check that first they really are parts re-placers

99% of mechanics are lying assholes.

    Hahahah mabye
But they should know better its the 3rd bike ive had them roadworthy haha and apart from tires I dont let them do any work
I think team motos mechanics have a bad attitude but I dont mind most mechanics pro honda rocklea and motorama toyota are both good :) but then both those places look after their staff

Yep lol all good now but still
I now not all major dealerships are like this but kinda makes sense to stick to the smaller guys and girls who pride them selves on costumer service and quality they lives depend on it in a way and are generally a lot more helpful!!! My theory anyway

Depends on what sort of ride you want to mate. You could go up mt glorious and over the range back down nebo.

That's a 3-5 hour ride depending on your speed.

Mate if I had a roadworthy bike I would live too. I love that ride. Just jump on the Ipswich motorway. Take the warrego highway exit. Then at black soil there will be a turn off for the Brisbane valley highway. Stay on that for a bit. Then take the wivenhoe-Somerset rd. follow that until you come to a northbrook parkway. Turn up that road and follow it. It will start of gradual turns then up the mountain it's all hair pins. Awesome to learn cornering. You can either follow that all the way along the range to mt nebo. Or once you get to the top turn around and come back.

Lot of tight corners so take easy on first trip after awhile u will get better !!!
Scrapped my pegs last time on the hairpin can be a lot of fun but can easily end up on wrong side of road

:lolsign: ...and don't I know it.

Have also noticed there's usually a code of conduct when group riding, and certain signals used. :thumb_ups:

Not a problem. If you check out those directions on google maps or something to that effect you can see how to come back through red hill.

That's the next level! even with the bike just clicking it wouldnt make any one beleieve it was the fuel pump atleast have a believable story! (battery, solenoid) what scumbags!
