    Pillion retention device :D

Never ridden a 12, but I have ridden a few ZX10R's and ZX14's. Really like the 14, big sporty bike that you can tour on. And the longer wheelbase is nice for comfort and stability in the corners while still being able to throw it around.

rides well, the suspension has already been rebuilt for a fat kharn like me. Super smooth gearbox, great gear ratios, gangs of torque. Has braided front lines, power commander. goes stupid fast. brand new diablo tyres, i like it. perfect for 2 up riding.....
    ...umm... 3,000rpm 6th at 85km/h....redline 12,000.... geared for 3**......

    yeah its comfortable and stable!!
zx12 has a shorter wheelbase "1450" that most of the big sports tourers and weighs in lighter.

pffft. licenses. who needs em anyway?

the REAL question is how high and how far can you get off those nice little jumps they place on 50km/h streets?

i can hear the dashcam complaining from here...

Went for a ride down Old Pacific Hwy yesterday morning, first ride through the twistys on the ZX12r... starting to get to to know the bike, luvin the long gearing and $hit tins of torque.
Managed to get up earlier than the idiot cyclists that like to ride 2 - 3 across a single lane and block the entire road...... Making my way to the edge of the tyre too...

Been a very long time since I rode it, but the Old Pacific Hwy has some gorgeous sweeping bends which if one were so inclined one could take at a speed in excess of the limit...
I've heard that in recent years though it's peppered with Police preventing such fun from occurring..BUGGAH!

a bike bleeding with vital components littering the road is far better than a body bleeding with vital components littering the roadside, though neither are desirable...

thats just a bummer, you could have at least ripped the bumper off or something? made it worth your time?

ffs, when I did this with the vx800 and performed a nice somersault over the bonnet... i finished three more deliveries, rode home from alexandria to galston via hornsby hospital... and she got towed away with the CAR written off!

i cant even SEE any damage besides a tiny little dent?
