Discussion Suzuki Rg150, any thoughts?

    Now that my FZR is nearly done ive been looking at what else is on trademe and found a low KM RG150e, 1998.

    Just wondered if anyone had experience with these in terms of ease to work on and part availability. Supposedly it's had a engine rebuild, new crank and piston.

    It's cheap enough and the specs on paper look like plenty of fun, I'd buy the workshop manual and try tinker with it myself as a learning experience.

    Love 2strokes but NSR or RGV etc way out of my price range!

    many and varied
    They and the Kawasaki 150 were raced here for several years. Quite reliable if left stock. Quite quick too.
    If the receipts are there for the engine work it would be a good buy. AFAIK parts are still available.
