    Went to pick up the bike today, bullshit address and can’t get hold of the guy, be very careful people. Guys name is Aaron Hore, bank account is in Geelong, also communicated with a Jim Leafy which I believe is a bullshit name. Glad they only got the deposit , going to the police now with all the details.

    Also worth contacting the fraud dept's of both banks immediately.
    If you've sent or received any phone calls or SMS the records held by the Telcos are incredibly detailed down to locations - many people don't know this

    Was listed on marketplace on facebook at about 11am yesterday, I contacted the guy about 5 minutes after it was listed.

    Scamming and spamming is at an all time high
    All the bike groups (and others) Im in on FB are full of scammers , and members with stories like yours or similar
    They join and pinch photos of bikes and parts from old posts
    I run a local community noticeboard page on FB and get 20/30 requests to post/join every day and 95% are spam or scams

    If u look at the bottom of our forum homepage theres
    Members online in the past 24 hours
    ... it usually averages 30/40 .... this morning it was about 115
    I spent all morning deleting/banning all the spam members and updating the "captcha"

    Watch a few "Pierogi" videos and u will see how bad the scamming is worldwide
