There is a new addition to the Family....
A shiny new 2022 Triumph Tiger Sport 660.
Picked her up today and rode it the long way home... not the very long way as I still had work to do but around 50km and a mix speeds, back roads and some nice twisty corners.
Taking it easy for now but it is a dream to ride.. silky smooth engine and gearbox.
There is plenty of torque... that is what is so different to the CB400FS Revo.

One minor isse is that the heated grips were not working, not that it mattered as the day was nice but the Dealer had to order in a new set and they will re-fit the new ones when they arrive.
Now to try and put some miles on it and get used to the height of the seat, with my short little legs I am tippy toes if I want both feet on the deck. Shouldnt be an issue though :)

I think I am going to call her Ruby...

    Hi Andy
New bike look's brilliant , nice colour on the tank too.
New bike , nothing to fix , well nothing you have to do that is.
So more time getting out and about , than being in the shed .
Look's to be a few factory accessories for your model already , the alarm / tracker is pretty impressive thou.
A lowering kit is listed , a option for you. I prefer feet flat on the ground when ever possible , especially when parking the bike etc.
Now , it wouldn't take long to rip off the old exhaust , and fit a sports muffler to it , and while we have the tool's out , we can also do.......... :lolsign:

Cheers mate... hmmm a lowering kit you say. I hadnt seen that.
I had the heated grips fitted as well as the USB connection and a luggage rack is on order. Other than that I have a few little things to go on it.. protectors for the heel guards and paddock stand bobbins but no sports mufflers etc... happy to keep it pretty much stock for now... other than possibly the lowering kit.. please send info :)

I dont know how basic or advanced the suspension is on these but if it was me Id be getting it finely "tuned" for you

I like the look of that exhaust .... especially when u see some of the monstrosities on new models these days

No adjustment on the front and the rear has a remote pre-load hydraulic adjustment.
I have that at the lowest setting at the moment and it handles my weight well with plenty of travel for bumps and some nice squat on acceleration out of corners.
It isn’t a track bike but it is really nimble
If I was to do anything it would probably be looking at the low comfort seat which drops the height by 25mm
I will get more km on it before doing any of that though.

The good thing is that it appears the heated grips are working and are quite nice. Not red hot like the Oxford grips but still nice to have.

Interesting finds mate... for now she will remain Stock. I have some bobbins for her, when I can find where I stored them safely :)

    Hmmmm should I ???
    Tank Cap decal.jpeg

I now have a Triumph Lower Comfort seat fitted... gives me about 25mm lowering which should be enough.
Now I just want the damned rain to go away.

Is that a fuel cap ?.
Not into riding in the rain either , but have done many k's in it.
Carefull getting the bike dirty , especially the back wheel , then you'd have to then join the Dirty back wheel club.

It is a Resin decal to go onto the fuel cap...
I rode in the rain when I was much younger and was using the bike to commute... I dont need to ride in the rain now so I dont... pretty simple formulas really.
If I am out and get caught in the rain... so be it.
