Yes, I was actually tempted, if I didn’t have another SPADA on the go, an xs650 and moto guzzi lemans mk 1 waiting for me to start on them and a moto guzzi 500 Monza waiting to be picked up from the north coast, I possibly would have purchased it. The bitter cost of consequential divorce ensured cooler heads prevailed :)

I love those little Monza Guzzi's. Pretty rare though.

Yes, lovely things..There are quite a few in collections but they almost never come up for sale. As much as I hate purchasing non runners(that haven’t run for decades), sight unseen, the seller reckons he was inundated with inquiries….lucky I checked gumtree that morning.

It is , but it does look pretty neat thou for its age , and it's all there , even the lower belly pan is there.
I suppose it's up to the individual , if they want to spend that much.
There getting hard to find that haven't been butchered.
At those k's , the top end would need doing to bring the HP back to life.
When I was looking for a 250cc Air cooled bike , this was one of the bikes that was on my hot list.
I still have the road test magazines from when this model was released.

The 700km round trip isn't ideal, but there would be a few good bits in there. There's at least two engines, so a couple of cranks and other NLA bits.

I'd hate to see the invoice on this rebuild / mod , but wow some serious beautiful work has gone into that bike.
I suppose as long as you still have the O.E part's for the future.

This jumped out at me today on FB Marketplace... a brand new RJays Adventurer seat bag... picked it up in albury for $30, retails for $120... so not too bad a deal. It will also fit on the rack when it eventually turns up.
It also collapses down when you dont need all the space.

While it isnt exactly a motorbike it does have a Honda engine... I picked this up today, a Rover Colt major ride on mower with an 8.5hp Honda motor.
The new place we are moving to backs onto the old Albury Tip which is now used for some scraggy cattle but there is a section of about 400 square metres that we will need to look after. I didnt fancy walking behind a mower to do that as well as the normal lawns (its a 900 m2 block) so this is a great alternative.
Hmmm I wonder what mods can be done to this engine... lol
