There are aftermarket fairings for the 3LN model on eBay.

iv spoken to the people at tyga befor about it and they said no one they know has tryed but i had a look at the size and shape of the cbr and vfr frame and it wouldnt be to difficult to do. you would need new subframes though.
im gonna order a set soon an i'll let people know how it goes.

Just fairings is in Hamilton, i bought a new front fairing and rhs. only problem is that they dont come with and of the clips or anything to reattach them to the bike. the side fairings are okay as all that is needed is the allen key screws. but the front fairing didnt have any of the mounts that the bolts/screws etc go into. the guy at justfairings said most people just leave these out and hang the fairing from the subframe where the mirrors attach to... i thought that this was not sufficient so i cut the old mounts out of the old fairing and fibre glassed them onto the new one (making sure that they were in the correct place of course). it took a considerably long time and effort to do this but i think it was all worth it

Hey Guys, there is a guy in melbourne making farings for the FZR 250 they are handmade in fiberglass and are pretty good i recently bought a top faring, left and right front and new screen from him for $520 for that price it included 4 indicators, bolts and postage from Melbourne to Hobart. Their website is www.acbikes.com.au and the guy i was dealing with was a guy called Simon email them at sales@acbikes.com.au

The supplied farings require sanding and painting but are complete and fit well. the down side is at this stage they dont make the ductail fairings only the front ones.

I'll be in the market for some very soon too. I've spotted these.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FZR250R- ... ccessories

But I'm not sure if Im willing to risk it on a cheap Chinese set.

... especially when you're expected to pay return shipping if it's crap to get a refund! $249 price - $225 shipping = $24 refund?! HA!

Exactly, hence my skepticism. But for as many stories of disappointment I've heard equal amounts of success. Having said that I'd much rather pay more for a local set

Has anyone tried or fitting one of the Chinese fairing kits to their bike? If so, how is the fit and the quality? I just bought a 1991 Yamaha FZR 250 3LN3/5 and the fairing is pretty average. It's full of cracks and missing a few pieces.
