First test ride was on a 2018 model in full power mode. I forgot to even try other modes, never having owned a bike with different settings before. Next test on the same bike I tried the most subdued mode, if it can be called that. Still plenty responsive.
Nice pics of you on the bike in action. After more than 50 years of motorcycling, I think I have one photo of me actually riding, on my daughter's Yamaha 100 on a road on Tarawa atoll in the Central Pacific. Most others are of stationary bikes or of other people on bikes. Maybe I have a few somewhere of me riding a TTR250 Yammie or a DR350 Suzuki up Cape York in the 90s. Good memories. The current generation are fortunate to have phones and GoPros to record their exploits.

Having cameras to record everything is both a blessing and a curse, the police these days are quite fond of taking any cameras and viewing any footage for 'evidence' of wrongdoing on the road.

    Bike's going great!

I have made some more fine adjustments to the suspension and settled on the following settings

    Front

Spring preload - unchanged (18mm std height, softest is 19mm, hardest is 4mm)
Compression damping (slow speed) - 2 clicks softer - standard is 11 of 18 clicks, now at 13
Compression damping (high speed) - unchanged - 3 of 5.5 clicks
Rebound damping - 3 clicks softer - standard is 17 of 26 clicks, now at 20

    Rear

Spring preload - unchanged (softest setting, 148mm) - Note the preload is remotely adjustable
Compression damping - 3 clicks softer, standard is 10 of 20 clicks, now at 13
Rebound damping - 3 clicks softer - standard is 12 of 30 clicks, now at 15

Result: A much less bumpy, and more stable/compliant ride over bumps at low/medium speed, even with a pillion, and improved stability when leant over.

Really loving mthe bike. I've been running around on it going everywhere, at all times, every day. 1100km on it now. Will do another service at 1200km, then at 1600km I feel I can confidently let her rip, as it were.

When I saw the start of the thread, I couldn't help thinking "Link, it's a new bike, you don't have to go pulling it apart and playing with it!" Seems I was wrong. Well, not so much pulling it apart, but you still had to work on it. Did you sort the triple clamp issue? Or just use the edge of the building from time to time?

I've straightened it as much as I can without fully removing the top triple clamp and loosening the bearings. I will do the full job in the upcoming 1200km service.

Today I fitted a set of Whites power sports heated grips, they're better than the oxfords because there is no separate controller box, it's all built into the left grip.

I've also fitted a cheap ebay windscreen to help take some of the wind blast away.

    Photos to follow later.

Delkevic motorcycle downpipes and exhaust headers are mandrel formed to ensure uniform cross section and dimensions ensuring a guaranteed fit and reliable performance. They are manufactured from high quality 304 stainless tube for the primary section. All exhaust systems are developed and extensively tested in the UK to ensure that not only do Delkevic exhausts fit first time, every time, but also that they work efficiently and effectively.

    Harsh

the system arrived the other day so I got busy after work...

No cat at all, so I chose to leave the baffle in. I will be wearing my earplugs more often now, I think.
