Hi all just picked up GSXR 250 GJ73A, it was easy to transport home as previous owner had stored it in boxes for the last 10 years.

All plastics are in reasonable condition which is a bonus, unfortunately carbs are need an overhaul a as all the rubber seals have gone hard and the head also needs removing to give the valves a good clean.

I looking for a service manual, I did look In the download section but couldn't find one, I'm hoping a member has a copy I could use.

This would be my second GSXR 250, reconditioned another 2 years ago.

Can't seem to be able to uploads pics at the moment, hope fully I will figure it out shortly.

    Thanks John

Welcome. There is no English manual for these bikes, only a Japanese version. Given today's "Translate" Apps and software, you should be able to use it. It's what I used to work on my wife's GSXR.

Manuals are here, but you have to be a member to access them. It's a small fee, but worth it.

    Hi John.
The bike has come up very nice , you've done well considering it was in box's.
Did you find out the reason why is was pulled apart and stored ? , that alway's intrigues me , unless they had storage issue's as living in a flat and not having a garage.

The previous owner said it never ran right, he stripped it with the intention of fitting RD 350 engine or similar but didn't get round to it
