    $5,200
2016 Hunter Scooter zh150 Rat style
922 kms · Central Coast, NSW

    Selling the "L1l Sh1T"

This is not an old scooter. It is a 2016 model with just over 1000kms on the clock. I have given it a rusty old look to make it rat rod style. So please stop saying its not legal. They are fully ADR compliant. All I have done is give it a make over. Check out what they look like off the show room floor from their website.... https://huntedscooters.com.au/

    So now onto my blurp.

Want to be seen cruising around on a scooter like no other?
Want people to take photos of you at the lights?
Want to spend 10 to 15 minutes extra every time you fill up at a servo cause people come up to talk to you about this scoot?
Want to own a 1 off rat rod scooter?
If you even answered one of the above in the positive then this scoot is for you.

I bought this 150cc 4 stroke Hunter Scooter off Hunted Scooters June 2019. It had been a display model. It had 26kms on the clock. It was a stock standard Hunter Scooter. Yes it is a Chinese scooter. No you wont get a virus from it.

It has now done 1073kms. The speedo does say just over 900 because I had fitted a different speedo for 151kms, but it was for a bike with a way bigger from wheel so that speedo read the road speed incorrectly.

It has just been run in and had engine oil changed.

    Price:
    $5200 ono.

    Where is the scooter located?
    Gosford area Central Coast NSW.
Will sell to interstate buyers but you must arrange bike transport.
If from Sydney you will have to collect as I do not have a van or a trailer to bring it to you.

    Vehicle Rego: Due - 28 Jun 2020
    Rego plate: DQS37

Expectation from you as the buyer:
    Read the whole add.
PM me first. Then we can talk via phone.
I am open to negotiating the price. Within reason. No low ball offers. You can go buy a skate board for your low balls.
If deep down you really are not going to buy this please don't waste your time or mine by contacting me and then never following through with me. I do not build bikes for living and have a full time job.

    Why am Selling?
I am not desperate to sell.
This is awesome bike and I do love the attention it gets.
I want some funds so I can buy another bike to work on.

    Performance enhancements:
Replaced the original 14 gram rollers with Dr Pulley 12 gram sliders.
Replaced original clutch with NYC racing clutch that has 2000rpm springs fitted. This and the sliders means you rev more on take off but its pulls real hard off the line and scoots away from the traffic way quicker than standard.
DB killer removed from the muffler. Has a nice deep sound to it. (DB Killer will come with scoot.)
Has an iridium spark plug fitted for better fuel burn etc.

What was done to make it a rat rod scooter:
    Check out the photos.
It has been painted with Porters Rust Paint. To give it that rat look. This has then been sealed with a matt finish clear coat.
Weathered in places with yellow chalk has also been done to give it that very old paint look. The chalk has been sealed with matt clear coat.
The rear part of the battery box has been removed. (It too has been treated with Rust paint but wont fit with the indicators I have fitted. It will come with the scooter.)
Original seat removed (it will come with the scooter) and a 1990s CBR900 pillion seat added. To fit this I had to weld in some braces and then bolted the seat to these braces.
Deleted and relocated the instruments. Only the speedo remains. That's all you need.
The ornaments on the front plate are a Hillman Hunter emblem (Get it Hunter Scooter, Hillam Hunter. Hillman was a old British car maker) and 2 Holden FB stars.
Handle bars are an old set of 1980s Suzuki GS125 ones flipped upside down to give that lowered bar look.
    Bar end mirrors.
Handle bar grips wrapped in twine.
Front and read indicators are water flow LED type. LED flasher relay fitted. Front ones are also white running/park lights. (To pass rego you have to have a white park light.)
Rear tail light is LED. Mounted to an old Honda CL450 exhaust clamp.
    Small chopper headlight fitted.
Rear mud guard there for legal reasons.
Number plate mounted to a rear bracket I made with a LED number plate light.
Plate that separates the engine and the seat replaced with wood. Compliance plates mounted to this.
Battery moved from the front of the scooter and mounted at rear of fuel tank. Then covered with a very old Champion Spark Plug metal tin.
Shrunken skull has real animal leg bones to enhance it.
Rear tyre painted with paint on side wall and allowed to peal to give it that worn old white wall affect.
Comes with original tool kit (contained in leather pouch hanging off the side.)
Wrapped the header pipe with exhaust wrap.
Replaced foot pegs with running boards made from wood mounted to frame with set of bark buster brackets.
Fuel tank cap modified with an old tape handle.

What you get from me as the seller:
A super kool scooter that no one else has.
    I do not offer warranty.
I do not do returns or refunds.
You put the money down and buy it you own it.
If you see it here it is still for sale.

Photos taken this morning 2/2/2020. Last photo is what a Hunter Scooter looks like from the shop.

Hunted Motorcycles alright. We should round up a posse and hunt them down. :lolsign:
Seriously, if doing this to new bikes makes someone happy then let them go for it. Just don't bring it to my place if you come to visit. :commando:

Yea ol mate who posted it on FB said they were a mock up for an advert in Brazil :lolsign:

They would certainly catch anything in a chase but not too comfy for general patrol

Qld police carry quite a bit of equipment on their bikes, not sure the Daytona will fit it all..

Haha.. that was the issue in NSW when the Cops originally went to Honda 750 4's, they piled on Panniers, crash bars, heavy lights and radios and wondered why they didnt handle at all and lots of them crashed when trying the catch super quick Kawa 500 triples...lol

Yes, today police bikes carry so much equipment they become quite porky. No pun intended.

Actually, I heard a rumour that there might be Triumph Qld bikes... Those fjr1300 are no slouch, either. Heavy, but not slow.

When I was working at a shop which supplied action (helmet) cameras to the NSW motorcycle squad officers, of course I queried them about giving up chasing motorbikes, but on a more serious note I asked them the dry weight of the FJ1300's - I was astonished to hear that they weigh 350 Kgs fully laden - sheesh HEAVY

Not surprised about the weight. consider weapons, radar/laser, radio(s), sirens, lights, mobile data terminal, panniers, side impact protection, vehicle tracking, other safety gear, etc.

it looks like nicely done conversion. At first glance it looked like it was supposed to be built that way.
