Info Ticking noise on cold start

    Hi ive noticed a ticking noise after start up on my cbr250rr mc22. After its all warmed up there isnt any noise. I think it could just be the oil hasnt worked its way around the engine until its warm but i would like a more informed answet
    There is 2 videos, 1 trying to show the ticking while cold and the other the noise after its all warmed up

    1937 Royal Enfield 250, CF Moto 250 V5, Honda's XL250, CBR250, FT500 plus a few others.
    Could be just a valve clearance taking up as the head warms and expands. I don't think it is anything to worry about.

    Yep.
    Sounds quite normal to me for a bike that is over 20 years old.
    It is quieter than at least one of my bikes when cold.

    Had a similar occurrence a few years ago on my mc22, and ended up sorting by tightening up the header bolts.
