Man I just seem to attract these bikes like a magnet. But after several builds of various bikes my memory is rusty so I hope someone can humor me... 3LN3 again...

Valve clearances. I know where the T mark is on the magnet and on the camshaft for #1 and TDC at the little pointy part, but for the life of me I can't remember where the other mark is when you work through the firing order. Or even if there was one. On the 400 it was conveniently the split in the case so there was an identical spot 180 degrees on either side of the rotor so it was relatively straightforward. I looked at the manual again and it didn't seem to point it out... real head scratch moment.

Reckon this one will be a tracker, also building an ER5 but that's a story for another day (unless anyone has parts and they will be my best friend).

    Peace.

Ah thanks, I had totally forgotten that existed too. Looks like he also did a 180 degree mark with a permanent marker - it seemed so absurd when I thought about it but I probably did that too. Suppose that's what I'm doing again lol.
