New Member New Spada owner from Sydney

    Long time lurker, first time poster, though I would introduce myself.

    Been riding dirt and trials bikes since I was 6 years old (first bike was a 1968 Honda z50).
    When I got my L's in '89, I drooled over the Spada but alas she was way out of my price range.

    Last week this little roughy popped up on Gumtree for a a very low price and it still had a tiny bit of rego left so I snapped her up.

    Needs a fair bit of work and obviously a respray (matches my fence which is not a good thing!) but I'm up for the challenge. Will post a project log in the Project thread.

    Thanks mate! Gonna need it! Tomorrows mission is to replace the seals in the leaky front forks.

    Congratulations, I know that bike well, but it was certainly looking prettier when it left my workshop,,,, I almost bought it back, congratulations, its a great bike.

    Thanks mate! I've seen that pic of how it looked 12 months ago and the mind boggles how the guy I bought it off managed let it get so bad.

    He said he got someone to replace the front forks as they completely rusted... glad I dont live near the beach!
