Project ZXR400L4

Just a quick intro to my zxr400

So i bought the bike in September 2011 as a way to commute and also to drive up to see my wife back home as we were working in 2 different towns and living apart for what would eventually be 9 months

This was the bike as i pretty much got it:


Bike was used and abused a bit being a commuter bike things were fix on a "i need this working for tomorrow morning" basis as opposed to being "proper" fixes, and as a result the bike got to be a bit dog eared...bike was used until i had a bad smash on it on the motorway, i then decided to fix it and get it looking respectable:



i then thought...**** it, im not commuting on it anymore...lets get it back to better than it left the factory...and thus the journey started...bike currently looks like this:


all im waiting on now is a brake lever and bushing and it can go back on the road...does still need a few bits looking at, but its pretty much a 100% nuts and bolts rebuild. ive got a donor engine in for the moment to get me back on the road, im going to big bore my 400 engine and put in hotter adjustable cams, custom CDi and FCR's if i can get them...
