Past experience with the Suzuki Across fuel pump, stick with original, had nothing but problems with after market fuel pump. Soon as an original pump was installed, problem disappeared. Just my take.

nothing wrong with what you are saying phil, but in my country parts are scares and if i can figure out another way or find another part that can do the same job with not to much of modifying then thats all good to me.

    Hey graham,

The flow rate is super important, Phil and I had an across and we couldn't get it to run right, in the end we replaced the after market fuel pump with a genuine one and it ran like a top

    Cheers

    hey kiffsta

im aware of the flow rate thats why im going to use a fuel pressure regulator, i used a similar setup on my car once, had over fuelling problems and after fitting the regulator it was sorted, i guess its in my nature to try stuff and using the trail and error method. like i said if i get it right i will share it with others as i know how some of friends struggled to find fuel pumps fore their bikes.

Cool, do you know the part number of the fuel pump ? I bought a zxr a while back and there were boxes of parts for an FZR and I think there is a fuel pump there, I will be back home in 10 days, I can check and let you if it works.
