Thought I would show my 1980 Moto Morini 2C 250. It is a V twin, right hand 6 speed gear change and is great fun to ride.
The 250 Morinis were made for the French market due to them being 239cc and therefore exempt from the French taxes on motorcycles bigger than 240cc.
Been a while since I saw one of those. Add pushrods to the list of unusual features. Italians all have Michelangelo's DNA Can I get a handmade alloy tank for my Honda? Great story here https://www.cycleworld.com/moto-morini-motorcycles-history-corsaro80-80th-anniversary-celebration
The little fairing reminds me of the BMW 650 LS. Have a mate in Italy that has a Moto Morini , well did have last time i helped him out.I agree they are a good looking bike. Wasn't aware that they had a belt off the main crank though.
Gilmer belt from crank to camshaft at bottom of the V, then short pushrods and rockers to the two valves set vertically in the Heron head (flat face) with combustion chamber in the piston crown.
