So after doing the wire splice delimiting (which was SUPER easy!), I got the old girl onto the dyno this weekend.

    This was the result:

Has anyone had much to do with 2-stroke tuning based on AFRs? I have had some good feedback from a FB page i am on where the consensus is AFRs before power-band aren't reliable due to turbulence in the expansion chamber and the addition of lubricant. I would be interested to hear more about this?

I also have an EGT gauge on the way to help with some fine tuning and avoid excessive temps (and hopefully a seizure).

    Thanks guys,

56.5rwhp should be at least 60bhp at the crank. I'm told that Dyno runs can give different results depending on the manufacturer, so figures may vary.

I'm not sure what the figure quoted by Honda was back in the day, but a stock restricted one makes about 45whp... So i am pretty happy with the results! :D
