    Hi everyone,
I purchased my bandit about 2 months ago as a bit of a project. The previous owner had owned it for about 8 years but did not ride it that much any more.
The last time he rode it he slid on the LH side and put a hole in the stator cover. So it sat around in his garage until he decided to sell it.
When i went to look at it, it still started with old fuel, and sounded great, even with the stock exhaust.

So i gave the man 5 green crocodiles and trailered it the 10 min drive back to my house.
I replaced the stator cover (suzuki across one is the same, only the colour is different), a new speedo cable (gsf250V cable fits), plastic welded the LH side cover (broken from his last crash) and got it roadworthied.

I purchased a carby kit from ebay and replaced the float needle to stop the flooding. I also cleaned out the rust from the float bowls. The kit also came with new pilot screw, main and pilot jets and new needle jet and jet needle. I left these out as i don't know how accurate the chinese are at manufacturing these pieces.

It is now on club rego as i won't be riding it that much (i also have a 2017 royal enfield classic 350 and a suzuki v-strom 650)

I now have a wiring issue where I wiggle the wiring on the RH side next to the engine and it cuts out.
More problems but it is a project after all.

In the few hundred kays of riding i have done, it is an absolute blast to ride. The motor is very smooth and just wants to rev. It gets a nice little kick at 12k and screams toward 17k redline.

Only bad points so far are soft suspension and crappy fuel economy (6L per hundred)

    Cheers
    GJ74A

Good score - I like the description of 5 Green Crocodiles, that's a nice price
