for sale is my Zxr 250, 1991 C model lams approved. 32xxxk's. imported from japan into Aus in 2008. I have recently refreshed the engine up including new : - Piston rings - Valve seals - Timing chain & tensioner - over hauled carbs back to oem spec - Valve cover, Head & Base gasket - Head shaved & liquid blasted - Cylinders honed to suit rings - EBC clutch plates & springs - lots of basics including valve clearance, plugs, coils, thermostat, water pump seal, air filter, vacumm hoses & various gaskets. I have rebuilt the front and rear calipers, fitted with new sintered pads, fresh Pirelli tyres, serviced forks with 15w oil, New sprockets and chain. The fairings are genuine oem with a custom paint job by the importers. Minor cosmetic scrapes each side, rear qaurter panels have cracks, only one crack near the front blinker & could do with new snorkles. So much more to list but will go through with you upon inspection. Will get r.w.c and rego for buyer. Have all receipts $2700 ono.
I love this bike , if I didn’t have 2 of them we would be talking. It is a real credit to you Arron, I think we are at a crossroads with these 4 cylinder screamers with regards to values, they arent really the cool learner bikes anymore and I think as they continue to thin out, the values will only go up. IMO , it is worth your asking price and probably more. Good luck with the sale
thanks heaps mate! yeah I love these little 250's, unfortunately just don't have the room or funds to have multiple bikes registered otherwise I would probably keep buying more haha, and you're right most of the learners now are scared off by the old carby 4 cylinders, they don't know what their missing! oh and just curious do you have rear C model left and rear quarter panels for sale in really good nick at all?
