its done 18,000 kms. I hope to bring it home this week. Should make a good project. I’m in Perth Western Australia. Pics to follow soon
I bought it from a guy in perth who bought the contents to a storage unit after the renter abandoned the unit by not paying the bills. Should take much to get going. New tires chain sprockets. Some panel work and paint etc. Ill get carbs rebuilt and vapour blast a lot of pieces. Scored it for $800
Well first day at home with the bike and considering its 30 years old and sat for ages it in remarkably good condition. Ill vapour blast and the steel sub frames and the carbs and engine radiator etc. Stainless fasteners etc. Cant wait to get stuck in once im on a months holidays in early july. Here she is after a quick wash and undressed
So Ive been slowly chasing up parts suppliers from sites my fellow members have suggested. One think I can find or I dont know if they are available are replica fairing kits / panels and if u can still order the original decals or source them aftermarket? My panels are pretty good and just need a good clean and repaint, some minor welding needed but I wound not mind knowing if aftermarket were available. if I cant source the decals I was going to make it into a lucky strike replica. Also does anyone know where i can source the original style mirrors?
Hi guys did these come with a fairing panel that you could sway out with the pillion seat pad for a solo seat look?
