hey guys..... as if i didnt have enough projects i dont have any time for...... i couldnt pass this up.... and the more i look at the parts that came with it... half the battle is done, the previous owners never finished it, but they kept buying the parts... except for what surprises the engine will have.... he reakons the electrics all in good working order, coastal bike but under cover.
carbs are stripped in a box..... ready for ultrasonic clean i guess.... china carb kit for 4 carbs came with it.
The original tank was roached appently, last owner sourced a good(not rusted) tank.
Tank vacumm cleaner hoses are in top nick, same as the side plastic "mesh" that sits on the fairing across to the frame...
front rotors munched, brakes need rebuild... etc etc bike last registered in 2010.
came with a set of rear side fairings in last pic... are the A or C??
    anyway.... stay tuned..

How are you coming along with this? Have you inspected the engine. I'm guessing my bike has an oil leak somewhere in the cylinders. It's definitely burning oil out the exhaust, it's never really done it before, and it's only been sitting. Then again i've flooded the **** out of it and tried starting it for 3 months, may have damaged a valve?

hey bro, have not done anything yet, and probably wont for while. I have bought 3 x ZXR250 and sold them and regretted it. At some point these bikes... especially the A model, will be so rare you wont get one.
Under cover for a rainy day.... might sit for 10 years, but at least i got one, and all the parts.
..... or... put a new ZX4R motor in it if it fits....
