Anyone know if the clutch on the ZXR400 is the same as the ZXR250? @kiffsta

I can't find an EBC SRK kit (they include new steel plates, friction plates, and springs) for the 250 anywhere, but they are available for the 400's.

EBC SRK034 is the one you want for the FZR250.

The kwaka 250/400 clutch part no's are different (basket, friction, steels and springs) so looks like the 400 one won't fit the 250.

    ZRX400 is a naked like the ZRX1200 or CB400

Well with shipping the OEM parts from megazip adds up to about $350 AUD, which is more than I want to spend on a clutch. Waiting to hear back from EBC, but a set of OEM metal plates, EBC cork plates, and Walker clutch springs is only $250 AUD from ebay, which is more reasonable.

But the SRK kit for the fizzer was about $220 AUD and it includes aramid fibre plates (kevlar) over cork plates, in addition to springs and steels.

This seller from ebay china has Kevlar friction plates for $6.70 each
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/woo-Clut...240657?hash=item1c53fe0511:g:2QwAAMXQUmFShGus

In the listing it say's they are the same as ZXR400 plates
    Fitment:
    KAWASAKI ZX-9R ZX9R 98-04 / Z1000 03-09 / ZX-10R ZX10R 05-09

    KAWASAKI BJ250 92-99 / ZXR250 89-95 / ZR250(Ballius)/ ZXR400 90-03

Might give you a few more option's if that's correct ^
You could ask him for the dimension's, and he may also be able to supply steel's ?

Saw a few listing's for Walker kit's that mention they won't suit C model's too

Here is a small table I created when shopping for clutch parts for my ZXR250 C Model. Seeing as you're Australian, these may be of especially good use to you. There sets for 5, 6 or 7 plates (stock is 5, upgraded is 6 and 7 is for a quad if you want a spare or two).

I didn't end up buying from any of these retailers, instead i bought OEM kawasaki parts from Japan.
