I have nothing planned mate, they had a lot of oil pooling at the bottom of the fork but you can have em if you want them :)

As it seems to be more than just a one-off , it would be interesting to know whether its a design fault , manufacturing fault (inferior metal) , or something along those lines .... or just ̶i̶d̶i̶o̶t̶s̶ owners using breaker bars instead of torque wrenches on the pinch bolts over time .... along with some assistance from whacking gutters/kerbs with the front end from ̶i̶d̶i̶o̶t̶s̶ riders beforehand.

Just idiots over tightening them till the gap is completely closed, of course the gutter bashing doesn't help.

Might pay to invest in some axle oggys to prevent hard knocks to the replacements

I agree with @Linkin - it's just overzealous people overtightening them

Looks like I have finally found some forks (no thanx to certain people on here  )

In fact I have a whole bike ..... its being stored elsewhere in the state for a bit as I cant collect it just yet (a long story)
Spare motor to rebuild, spare set of carbs ..... another set of headers for some mods I have in mind for the drag strip
