Help YDS3 Clutch Friction plates

    G'day Friends,
    Looks like I'll be needing the clutch friction plates for my YDS3 ..
    Anyone know where to get 'em ?

    Thanks Gen,
    Barnett don't post to Australia,but I've been in contact with a local outlet.
    The plate kit they offer contains 5 plates.Diagrammes of my engine ( YDS3C 1965 ) show only 4 plates..what's the story there ?

    When I scored a set of cbr250 kevlar friction plates from Barnett, they referred to them as "ultra thin" plates, they are designed to use an "extra" plate for extra overall contact area (to reduce / eliminate clutch slip
    This was way before Covid
    Their part number should assist you to find what other bikes use your YDS

    Will the friction plates off a Yamaha YA5 fit a YDS3 ?
