I am surprised at how any spadas there are for sale. A buyers market at present.
They are a good little bike.

Not a 2fiftycc, but another example of murdering a classic bike and hoping another idiot buys it from you for silly money! I guess the owner took a registered bike and made all the mods and now hopes to sell it 'as is'. I don't know the rules in Canberra, but you couldn't register that bike in VIC.

It happens all too often with heaps of bikes. And to make it worse they sell or toss the oem parts.

I dont mind some that are done in ways that dont stop it from being returned to oem easily.

No lets see how many roadworthy defects we can pick.
No guards, no blinkers, looks like the frame has been modified, front brake line looks the be unrestrained, muffler looks to be dubious, can not see where rear number plate mounts, looks like no chain guard. Can anyone pick any others?

Depends on the year, etc, it mightn't need indicators.

    On a previous topic....

I was surfing with my wife's facebook account and saw a fairing for sale on a XS250. The seller wanted $250 for it. I could tell is was a Chinesium item and once I stopped laughing, I had a bit of a look around and found a similar one for $113 on Aliexpress! I could have found the same one, but couldn't be fragged.

Not a 250, but thought I'd see if anyone was desperate.

Good morning everyone, hope all is having a great festive season - ride safe!
I’ve been searching trademe NZ and have found there are a few cbr250rr’s, but, I came across this gem.
    https://www.trademe.co.nz/trade-me-...or-sale/wrecking-bikes/auction-2919883688.htm

    What are your guys thoughts?
Personally if it wasn’t 500kms away from me I’d snap it up in a heart beat.
(Sorry not sure how to add the link with photos attached)

    Looks nice.
You can always have it delivered.
I purchased a bike in Brisbane and had it shipped to Melbourne for $400.
You could put in a lowish bid and see where it goes.

Pretty much the going price for a decent FZR here in Oz .... and its a 1989 3LN1

For those playing at home ...
    $1800NZD = $1687AUD

So I’ve been quoted $350 for the shipping from door to door which I’m happy to pay. I will take a chance on it, hopefully the guy selling is as honest as he sounds.
Wow I really thought fzr’s were becoming a collectors item...
Just imagine how the conversation went with my Mrs when I told her I’m buying another bike haha
