    $5k is cheap for a new bike, even if it is made in China. $7-10k is ride away price for the established brands entry level bikes. Except for the Suzuki gsxr125 at $4300, depending on where you live.

    Re the ugly guard; that is to comply with the ADRs as to the height of the taillight/reflector and if the manufacturers keep making the bum end higher (where old blokes cannot get their leg over) then expect more ugly crap to be hanging off the back end.

    Totally correct on both counts. Seems to be a bit of a Spada shortage everywhere atm. Still hundreds languishing under trees and houses and dumped in back yards I’m guessing.
