I’ll give you a VT250F (sans engine) if you want to ‘play’.

The comparable bike would be the RD250, but they are a lot more popular, and it would want to be Mickey Mouse to pay $5k. Mightn't be as rare, but it means there are parts and add-ons and lots of expertise. Or just go an rgv.

Silly prices , but the earlier 87 fzr1000 is touted as a future classic and fetch around $8000 to $10000 , the later not so much

As long as the ride to work is a perfectly straight line I think this bike has some “grate” features. Huge weight savings are possible when the exhaust system can double as both a centre stand and a side stand. Fantastic innovation!

Is that front tyre a mountain bike tyre?

I agree, that front tyre looks like a mountain bike tyre. Surprised it got a roadworthy as I am sure the speed rating of a mountain bike tyre would be well below the capability of just about any road bike.

Maybe they rated that front tyre on the bikes cornering speed.. no way that things doing a roundabout much faster than a geriatrics walking pace. With so little ground clearance you would just about have to hang off it to change direction.

I obviously don't get out enough or I just ignore new bikes. I didn't realise new 250's are so expensive. At least this is a V-twin!
