Surely Kawasaki still hold the rights to the gpx name ?

I went into one of their dealerships in Chang Mi 18 months ago. Amazing array of bikes plus custom specials , one even had a dustbin fairing on it.

Neither legend, nor gentleman racer would be a more apt description of me.
There is another brand sold here called 'Stallions' but it seems that they might be Chinese or at least the engines are from China. I don't know if the Legend's engine is made here or not.

I thought the same thing. I have been looking for a new commuter and I saw 'new 250 GPX' and thought it was a Kawasaki.

Well I narrowed it down to a choice between a retro Kawasaki 175 and this Yamaha 155, which is a new model.

It is a bit of a bitzer. Looks like the R15 frame and engine, fitted with dual purpose tyres (same size as my MC22), rearsets etc.
The Kawasaki is a tiny version of the W800 and yes, that is a carburettor. The tyres on this thing look like they come off a step-through. They have an overpriced 250 version with a brown (vomit) seat so that is not an option.

The Yamaha looks good, the Kawasaki would want to be cheap.
