I bought this spada from tHEtREV in brisbane a year ago and it was a bit rough but went like stink.

    Spada bought from the Trev.jpg

This one came from Rob (gizziracer)

but despite a lot of carb work by him, it wouldn't pull well on hills and didn't want to rev past 7000.
On the flat, it wasn't noticeable, but around Lismore, it's all hilly stuff.
I swopped the carbs off Trev's one and now it goes really well. Maybe it was the main jets that needed replacing!!!!!! It had poor economy too, 21 kms per litre at 90kph.!!!!!
I'm about to try in out on Rifle Range road which is like a racetrack. Teven to Wollongbar.

Keep us advised about what you find.
My green one seems a bit flat at the top end. Mind you, I have nothing really to compare it to other than my little cbrs that both pull hard up to about 18k rpm. How hard are these little things suposed to pull in comparison.
Bottom end torque seems similar to the cbr based on my calibrated but.

So i learnt that the RatBiKE (tHEtREVS) carbs were very good. I'll leave them the good red Spada.
I will dismantle Robs carbs and try new jets before transferring them to the ratbike
Where are you. You might be able to try them out on your bike.

That's why I buy models in multiples - 3 Spadas, 4 BRs, 2 Sherpas, 2 CX650s............ lots of stuff to swap.
