I just got hold of a pretty ratty 250 Across which runs but has compression issues in that i cylinder has ZERO compression and one very low.
I need to take the head off to see whats what and would like to do it without removing the engine. Is it possible?
Also are all the parts like rings and valves etc etc available for am Across?
Where can I find a Workshop Manual?

Thanks a million. Any idea where to find a head gasket?
Not sure if I need a piston yet but there is ZERO compression on one cylinder but yet to open the motor.
But will definitely need a gasket

Suggest going to someone like Mick Hone Motorcycles and getting a genuine gasket.
