Good question,,,,I ordered a Guzzi V50 frame yesterday,,I perve on 1/2 scale hotrod bodies quite often,but I shudder when I look at what the Gov gives me to live on V's what I "waste" on toys,,,,MMMM ? , lets just say, I'll settle for howling bench mounted V8 powered margarita blender, until Mr Lotto gives me the nod,,

 

In Qld, hot rod rules are very easy to work with for pre-47 models: it just has to look like a model of car that made before 1947. I don't know if that means you could shrink a design a bit, but you can have modern engine, suspension, brakes, etc and no crash testing or emissions testing requirements. This makes building a hot rod cheap and easy compared to an individually constructed vehicle. I'm not sure what the Chrysler PT cruiser is based on but maybe a cheap starting point?

 

Been trying to finish my mates gt380 , alas the harness won’t be here until the new year , so injury rigged his old one up, popped some fuel in it and it fired up

this is going to be a nice old thing , the chrome work is amazing

 

I have 2 older guys who put **** away as soon I put it down , I swear to god I don’t even get to put it on the bench and it is cleaned and back in the box

Paint is back , he asked for the brightest red possible

Sounds fantastic, as much as I find 2 strokes totally annoying, expensive and inefficient I also love them.. and miss having one,,,,,,,,still find it difficult to believe they even run

 

We had a yz125 running in the shop yesterday - the sound makes you want one to wring its neck! Or something like the TM racing 85 in a full-size frame: feels like you are really racing without going so fast!

Hey andy, how did you go with the smaller nozzle ????
also for lighting i used the cheap ebay waterproof 6 inch light bars, i got 3 in my cabinet, works a treat.

 

What, so you can see the job through the steel?! That sounds like a lot of light! They may be a little focused in one direction, are you going to use a difuser lens, like an opaque white plastic panel?
