Topped up the oil, checked the chain and air pressure. Rode the wheels off it. Went down the putty road and back. Awesome 370 klms. Rear tyre is shagged now!

Surface is pretty good.went with two mates. One on a pennagali one on a new Yamaha triple. Through the 35/45 upto 65 Klm corners they were behind me. The Yamaha a long way behind. Once it opened up to 75+ corners the Ducati was gone. The yammy caught up,well I could see his headlight in my mirrors. Road surface was a little sketchy at times but not too bumpy. Just have to watch out for the fuzz.

 

Got the new brake pads on the bike after a whole lot of mucking around. The brake-pad-pin plug was seized nicely. Resorted to a big hammer, centre punch and a few hits tangentially on the screw slot to "undo" it.

 

Had the young fella in the shed with me to help change oil & filter on the camel. Apart from the constant chatter about Pokemon, I think he had fun & maybe even learned something.
Also spent a good hour & a half filing out an inner piece of exhaust on the storm. According to multiple testimonials on the Ozfirestorm.com forum, it will be much smoother @ low revs & possibly even increase top end slightly due to better flow. I'm yet to get on it & open it up to see.

Was $129 and the bobbins were $25. Got both for $100 even. They still have a few left over.

good work, i walked out the front and said got to do some work but went back to bed.was working under the car 2 weeks ago and it fell off the jack. cross member broke 3 ribs and the swaybar smacked 4 teeth into the gum where some were visible but lost the ends. prognosis is ribs have to heal and 4 teeth need root canal therapy and capping.by the way if you have a late model falcon and the starter plays up just go and buy a new starter and see your local mechanic with a hoist.the ambo ride was a joy even with sister morphine on board,falcon late model starters from bosch are crap so if you have a falcon look for an old starter and rebuild it ready.

 

Not mine but buddy bought r1 doesn't have open yet so I rode back from Gold Coast was very nice also stopped at shark leathers and tried on same pair kiffsta got will be going back to buy

 

That's not good risky, take care mate and for Christ sake stick to bikes, not as heavy.

 

if the wheel had not been on there would be no risky.in haste forgot to chock. lesson learnt and not chasing any skirt.lol. that hurts.
