Hi Again Team, After recently selling my GSX250 Cafe Project, I won an auction at a website for a 2012 Ninja 250R Special Edition in reasonable condition. The bike was used at a motorcycle training centre and had 3000km's on the clock and some horrible drop guards attached and some scuff marks. After taking it to Motoheaven in Moorabbin they replaced the notched steering bearings, the bent left handle bar, put Pilot 3's on, polished some dents out and roadworthied it for me. I walked away with a 2012 Ninja 250R pretty much bang on $1 per kilometre its travelled I feel as though my riding skills will better develop on a bike I can ride farther, is more comfortable and upright, a little smoother and a lot quicker to stop and go. I was falling into bad habits and focusing more on WHAT i rode rather than HOW I rode. I feel this decision although emotional will be better for me in the long term. What do you think?

They're a good bike, it was my first. If doing long distance you might want to look in to an aftermarket seat or cover it in dead sheep skin. A ventura rack is another welcome addition, as it beats carrying backpacks everywhere. Expensive but worth it.
looks good and i know how linkin rode his. should be able to find a second hand ventura rack and bag if you look hard enuff. you should be happy with the bike.
